Day 3

Wentworth Falls then back to Sydney

Okay so today is the last day as we pack and check out of our hotel in the morning. We have a few hours to spare before we head back to Sydney.
Our next stop is Wentworth Falls Lake, perfect for a picnic or stroll by the lake. It’s just so serene and beautiful here. There is plenty of parking and a lovely lake. You will see plenty of bird life here and as you wonder the park you will see some nice sandstone creations that form the Wentworth Falls Lake sculptures.

Our next stop is Wentworth Falls, an incredible place and one of the most beautiful towns in Blue Mountain, with possibly the best bush walks and views. I would suggest exploring some of the many walks here, you’ll certainly be glad you did. Unfortunately it wasn’t possible for us to do much of the walking tracks firstly because we had small children and secondly it was our last day and the kids were exhausted from the trip.
However i do talk about them in my other article and this is something I definitely want to do next time maybe without the kids or when they are a bit older. Read the article here.

Things to bring:

  • Jumpersu
  • umbrella
  • Camera
  • water
  • snacks
  • backpack (you don’t want to be carrying anything)
